This Privacy Policy explains how Chuds BBQ ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Team Chud mobile app (the "App"). By using the App you agree to this policy.

Information you provide
- Account: your email address (used to sign in with a one-time code).
- Profile: display name, photo/avatar, location, "what you cook on," favorite food, and bio — all optional and entered by you.
- Content you post: community posts, photos, comments, "Rate My Cook" entries, and direct messages to other members.
- Reviews: product reviews you choose to submit (handled by Judge.me).

- Push token: if you enable notifications, a device push token so we can send you announcements and updates.
- App activity: in‑app activity needed to run features (e.g., game scores, loyalty point balance, items you've viewed/saved).
- Device/diagnostic data: basic technical data your device shares to keep the App working and secure.

Information from our other systems

- Orders & rewards: when you view "My Orders," your order history is matched to your account email from our store (Shopify). Your loyalty point balance is read from our marketing system (Klaviyo, fed by Smile).
How we use information
- Provide and operate the App (accounts, community, messaging, videos, tools, games).
- Show your orders, reviews, and ChudPoints balance.
- Send announcements and notifications you've opted into.
- Maintain safety: moderate content, respond to reports, and send warnings.
- Improve and troubleshoot the App.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third‑party advertising or cross‑app tracking.

How information is shared

We share information only with service providers that help run the App, including:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and storage.
- Mux — video hosting/streaming.
- Expo — app delivery and push notification routing.
- Shopify — order history (matched by email).
- Judge.me — product reviews.
- Klaviyo / Smile — loyalty points and messaging.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our members.

Other members can see
Â
Your display name, avatar, profile details you add, and anything you post publicly in the community are visible to other members. Direct messages are visible to the people in that conversation. Moderation warnings are visible only to you and our team.

Your choices and rights

- Edit your profile anytime in the App.
- Notifications: turn push on/off in your device settings.
- Block/report: block other members or report content from within the App.
- Access or delete your data: email us at the address below to request a copy of your data or deletion of your account and associated content.Â

Children
Â
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.
